This is the last update to this thread. To hell with this.

It’s been a rather uncomfortable couple of days, as headaches worsened and food just kept tasting increasingly nasty, regardless of where or how it gets cooked. Only thing that I really can take in without it feeling gross is clear water, and even that began to feel charred. I visited local therapist but he didn’t find anything and suggested that I just wash my mouth at least twice a day. What a freaking joke, I already do that.

Guess out of despair… I decided to give another look to that cassette of Peppina. Since that’s where it all started, maybe that’s also where it will end? So, I prepared to give it another go, perhaps hoping that this time, I will be able to enjoy it uninterrupted by any weird glitches. It was not meant to be.

In horror, feeling helpless, almost like I was glued to my chair, I watched the season from the start… as Peddita Udon became its main star. She no longer would pop up and then vanish like it was nothing. She completely took over the main role, her empty eyes feeling like bottomless abyss, with no way to understand where she was looking. Her mouth stuck in half-open state, with what was originally Peppina lines now sounding distorted, slightly muffled, and with a bit of ear-tearing crunch, like a chalk scratching the board, tearing apart. I wanted to move and stop the player, but I just couldn’t. And it would go on, and go on… and it felt like she was staring at me. That pale face with unblinking black eyes.

The breaking point did arrive to me, though. The episode with Fakepina… that battle didn’t came to be. Before Fakepina would even appear to face Peddita, the entire screen went down in noise, entire frame disappearing in black and white… except her. She just stayed there, her fists clenched and face looking directly at me. All the noise surrounding her felt hypnotizing… my vision tunneled and it began to feel like she was getting closer. My heart raced in my chest, blood violently pumping to my head. Finally, I was able to break out of my stupor, just to leap to an extension cord and rip it off the wall socket. TV and VHS almost instantly went black… with afterimage of Peddita staring at me from the screen, as a frame would faint down and turn to gray.

I am not touching that thing ever again. I don’t know if it’s something, but it clearly drives me nuts, and I am not interested in spending the rest of my days in mental asylum. If you guys want a thrill – well, DM me, I’m willing to dunk the whole thing at you, full set. TV, VHS player and that cursed recording. Have fun with it without me, digitize it if you feel like it, just get it out of my house. My only condition is that you cover the expenses of sending that shit to you, I’m not that desperate yet to give away personal belongings at a loss.

Damn so I tried to DM OP several times about the tapes but he's not responding. I suppose this was a hoax after all, because I don't think there is other explanation for the silence

The "repair guy" here.

So I tried to contact the TS since he promised me the cassete. It was like more than a week after I checked hit TV. I called him several times but he never picked up

Like a couple of days after, I went to his house. But he wasn't home either

Also his place was reeking of weird smell, like something was burnt

Anyways. I got chills and called cops. Said that he was a client and supposed to contact me about repair or something but never did

And then just a couple of more days after I saw him in a missing persons report on a local TV

When I visited his neighborhood again for work, is entire house was cordoned off

I dunno what the hell happened to the dude and I don't wanna know

Shit's just messed up

I though this whole topic was just a joke but now I'm not to sure what to think of it. This is a really scary situation, regardless if the paranormal thing was real or not

Also @rasarou I'm sorry that your intoducion to our fandom was like this. Usually it's nice and cosy in here...
